After our last open house visit on the 3rd day of Raya (the one yg ada serve chic wing yg sadap tu) which was on Monday..we went straight to Doulos since the clock shows almost 4 p.m. Plan to go there at night but since the weather is a bit cloudy and not too hot + the kids were still active..told hubs just to go there straight...alang2x mo balik rumah lagi...
Read from the paper that this will be their last visit to Sabah... ..well at least the kids & hubs have the experience to be onboard the Doulos. For me, this was my 2nd visit here...and it was like 16 or 17 yrs ago????!!
First I thought that we can go there straight, search for book & then go back BUT into my surprise there was a looooooooonggggggg queue where people were waiting for their turn to go onboard...waited for almost 20 minutes and we're finally there...
The ship's crews were all friendly....First we were directed to the exhibition hall once we were onboard...ada aircond here...There were many things happening there...the one i wanted to try the most was the international costume from around the world but that area was too crowded with people...You can actually pick any costume you like, wear it & took picture with it....with all the nice backdrops provided....too bad i just have to forget about it...with the kids around...memang tiada peluang!!
Went for a free body painting...Andrea malu2x kucing..she doesn't want to be painted..The lady asked me..."what do you want me to paint?"..told her.."Flower"....Hmm...& this is all i got...
 After got my painting, saw one guy wearing a Mexican outfit standing there with a smile..and told hubs.."siok oo kan kalau ko dapat pakai tu baju"...but since tiada tu baju for him..ask for hubs permission.."buli ka sia ambil gambar sama tu Mexican?" and he said "Bah pigi lah"..
 The kids were enjoying themselves at the kids corner..sampai ndak mo balik!!..After the short tour at the exhibtion hall, went straight to the book store..it was located at the upper deck...it was an open space shaded with canvas roofing...no aircond!! It was damn warm & hot & crowded with people...susanya mo bernafas....Finally, the kids got what they want - Andrew got himself a Superman book (he's a Superman fan now eversince he watched the Superman Return at HBO last week...so tu Fantastic 4, Spiderman & Ultraman semua kena lupa suda)...And as usual sia punya hahangai ini..she picked the Barbie book..her idol..hehehe..Hubs have to wait for another 15 or 20 minutes in a long queue just to wait for his turn to pay for those books....sampai the kids suda habis makan ice-cream masi lagi he queuing there...*sigh*...
