Suasindak Year End Concert cum Andrea Graduation's day...
This is my long overdue updates on my kids year end concert + Andrea's kindie graduation day :). Same venue like last year @ at Dewan Tun Fuad Penampang with the theme of "Suausindak TV channel". Not going to write much about this..let the photos tell the rest of the stories....

She acts as a reporter...Saw her came in the stage together with the TV3 crews & Datuk Gumpili (the one in blue long sleeve) to visit & give sponsorship to the poor family....pandai juga tu belakun......she told me she could not smile since this scene supposed to be sad..but when she saw me...she did put a smile on her face....hehehe...

Last weekend was my cousin Spencer's wedding - the wedding mass was held at St Michael Church Penampang followed by Wedding receiption at KDCA. Congrats to the newly wed Spencer & Vera :) !!!
Once again, Andrea was chosen to be the flower girl :)... and she was really excited about it cuz she knows that she'll be wearing a flower girl dress + getting new shoes + hairdo + make up. Was late to church due to spending too much time "setting" my hair in the saloon....*mana la tau kan if mo curl need longer time to do..1st time bah kasi curl..hehehe*...church starts at 9.30 am but reached saloon at 8.10 a.m. Luckily i've done Andrea's hairdo + make up before i left to saloon...
Met with cousin Tee & catch up with each other...lupa pulak ambil gambar together-gether kan Tee... :).. The kids too were having so much fun playing, running, jumping, dancing etc...you name it!!
Next 3 weeks will be my cousin Fanny's wedding, I will also be busy by then cuz i need to manage the flower girls (that's the job assigned to me)...and yes, Andrea will be one of them again...she's so lucky la...i only experienced it once during my younger age..hehehe... on the other hand, i'm also excited cuz my best buddy Jurra will be making the flower girl dress for the flower girls and so far she's doing great :). This is her progress so far.

Last but not least, Andrew caught the audience attention by entertaining everyone with his impromtu performance..as a backup dancer while the singer sang "Aku Stacy"... which is also one of his fav song...apa ndak...almost everyday mommy listen to that song ....hehehe... I didn't realize he was on the stage till my cousin's hubs told us.."Look who's there on the stage..." Me & hubs look at each other & can't believe he actually did that....Where did he get the energy from???!!! He ended his dance quite well though..watch the video & u'll see...
Had an enjoyable yet tiring trip to Tenon during last weekend. It was my cousin Marcella's wedding on Saturday morning and we all travel to Tenom on the day itself. Convoyed together with my sisters, uncles, aunties & cousins and started our journey as early as 5.30 a.m., reached Tenom town at about 9.40 a.m.(about 4 hrs journey), just nice to attend the wedding mass which started at 10 a.m. Luckily i've done my make up & simple hairdo at home (though i've to wake up at 4 a.m. just to do that but it has save my time a lot:)). My cousin Cilla married to our unimate's (Stanly Chung) brother and met Standly a.k.a Ah Chung in the church..he's now has 3 boys :).
Once again, CONGRATS to the newly wed..
This was my 1st time attending a Murut traditional wedding, and i tell you it was such an interesting yet a scary experience. Interesting cuz the wedding took place at the field with a tent sorrounding it which can fit 40 tables and the food was being served instead of buffet (6 dishes all together). Food was not bad, quite tasty. And guess where did they prepare the food??? All was done in my cousin's house!!! And you know what, the cost for all that is quite cheap, only RM160 per table, and this has include the tables+chairs+tent!!!!
The scary part was, you'll be forced to drink the "tapai" from the "tajau" no matter what your gender is, u can't afford to refuse...i manage to escape by telling them that "I'm pregnant" & they believed me..hahaha..thanks to my buldging belly..hehehe!! Hubs also manage to escape cuz Andrea was crying really hard while my cousin pulling his hand!! Maybe she thought that his daddy is being hurt...very caring la my daughter :)..They'll drink till the max you know..i can see a lot of them "ampai2x" suda...scary!!
Went home on the next day and reached home around 2 p.m.

About 2 weeks ago, our department had our Away Day at STAR Hotel…wondering what’s Away day means..it means away from office…hehehe..Actually the main reason for this workshop is to discuss about our department future plan, staff development plan, bla bla bla & so on….I’m not going to say much about work here but to tell more about our stay in this nice & pricy hotel :)..
Since it was 1.5 days workshop (Friday & Saturday) & also residential *yippie*..so apalagi…I brought my family along & we (especially the kids) had so much fun even though in between I have to leave them to attend the discussion….kira win2x situation la macam tu :).. Thanks to hubs for his support & taking good care of the kids without me around :)…We were given a room at 4th floor @ Kinabalu Wing & it means we will have the sea view….and yes..such a beautiful view it was…STAR Hotel is a nice place to stay..with the nice view, good facilities, good service, comfortable & nice food but it was damn expansive compare to other hotels in KK ..I don’t think I will hv the chance to stay in this hotel if not because of this workshop..hehehe…
As usual the kids had so much fun in the pool…not enough with that, they continued playing with water in the bath tub inside the room…punya la lama mo tunggu!! Had to rush for dinner at Tatu café cuz later on we’ll have another discussion at night…ndak puas makan ooo..nxt time la if ada peluang lagi..!!
In the next morning when I wanted to checked out, was so surprised to see a breakfast set (a basket of fruits, buns + 2 glasses of orange juice) on the table with a note “Andrew/Andrea..Enjoy this choc..Mama Odot (23/2/2008)”..hmm..was trying to find the chocs..tapi teda pun hehehe…salah tulis kali...it was actually a complimentary breakfast set from my Aunt who is working there..called her straight away to say TQ! Too bad we had sent the kids home early in the morning cuz hubs had a course on that day as well.. …so apalagi…I tapau-ed la the whole thing except the juice…sia minum la…whatelse. .:)
Hope to visit this hotel again in near future…if not for FOC..then have to wait $$$ to fall down from the sky..hahahaha…
