Thank God..I survived!!!
Yes you heard that right...I survived during our HUET assessment this morning!! YONE boleh...hehehe...I'm so happy, excited & really satisfied cuz i've did it quite well...didn't swallow any water and no water goes into my nose..I manage to use the EBS correctly eventhough during our earlier exercise it quite difficult for me to use it properly...It was such an unforgettable experience...really feel great rite now...i don't mind doing it again..hehehe...BEST bah!!

Feel so sleepy & tired right now...can't write much..just view these pics & video la ok :)..

Took group photos after familiarizing ourselves with the EBS..

Me & my new friend Bastiah..The one enter-framing us is Martin from German and he's our team leader...very funny guy..

The four of us will be the next group to be on board....:D

That's me..going down to the pool...no need to worry if u can't swim...those two competent divers will take care of you :).

Wah...sempat posing & senyum lagi...

The 1st assessment with the door closed, so need to escape from the small window..

That's me with the blue hard hat...This was taken during the 2nd assesment with the helicopter being capsized.

This video was taken during the third & final round of the whole exercise. It's the same with the 2nd assessment but was done in much faster mode.

Finally..i'm here at SMTC
Life is getting more interesting yet challenging for me nowadays...I'm now here in Miri attending this course at SMTC: Combined Sea survival Offshore Safety procedures, Helicopter under water escape training and basic fire fighting & self rescue (pheww..punya panjang) for 3 days. Reached Miri last nite and you know what..i've been missing my kids A LOT :( !!! Called Andrea during lunch & she told me.."Mommy I think of you while i'm in school.." :(...sad isn't it...

Thanks to Imperial Hotel for the internet free access...yippie..at least my time is fully occupied!!! I can check my email, complete my IPC (which deadline is today) as well as browsing & update my blog :D..Not bad la this hotel, quite comfortable and the price is quite reasonable & affordable...next time when you plan to have your vacation here in Miri, i highly suggest for you to stay here :). It's quite convenient you know, the shopping mall (Imperial Mall) is connected to this hotel & it's easy for you to find food, shops are also nearby.

Luckily this time there are 3 ladies (including myself) attending this course out of 22 of us. I was being told by my colleague that it's very rare for ladies attending such course. Met a lot of new friends from other company, most of them are Sarawakian..Today's class is just on theory, didn't do any practical. We'll start swimming and jumping into the pool tommorow...I've seen the other group did their practical today...Very challenging it seems..saw few guys wanting to vommit after few jumps..scary!!! And there this one guy did not dare to jump....the height is about 15m from the pool....not so sure how he'll be assess!!.By seeing that..i asked myself...How i'm going to survive tmr??...i'm afraid of height + do not know how to swim!!

While looking at the other group doing their assessment at the pool during our tea break this morning..there this one guy beside me asked me one question.."Kamu hantar orang kamu sini ka?"..I wasn't sure what does he means...so asked him to repeat his question again...he repeated the same thing...I replied.."Tidak...saya yang join this course"..He was quite shocked..can see from his face expression...i have a feeling that he might think that i'm from HR or something...or maybe he thought i'm too weak or my physical appearance does not fit/suite for this kind of activities...Tak pe tak pe...i'll make sure that tmr i'll manage to go through all that..YONE boleh...hehehe!!!!

Had kolok mee for dinner..only costs me RM2.30 (so CHEAP..can't get this price in KK)!!!...very tasty & banyak lagi tu :)

This is what i'm going through tommorow..wish me luck..

That's the helicopter...they gonna dipped it inside the water & turn it over & then you'll have to escape your self from there :S..

That's the height we gonna jump on Friday..

The view from the canteen..can see few platforms from here..

This is where i'm staying in Miri..Imperial Hotel..

Spacious place to sleep :D..

Took my own pic while doing my work :D...boring bah satu orang saja..hehehe...

Cilla Wedding in Tenom
Had an enjoyable yet tiring trip to Tenon during last weekend. It was my cousin Marcella's wedding on Saturday morning and we all travel to Tenom on the day itself. Convoyed together with my sisters, uncles, aunties & cousins and started our journey as early as 5.30 a.m., reached Tenom town at about 9.40 a.m.(about 4 hrs journey), just nice to attend the wedding mass which started at 10 a.m. Luckily i've done my make up & simple hairdo at home (though i've to wake up at 4 a.m. just to do that but it has save my time a lot:)). My cousin Cilla married to our unimate's (Stanly Chung) brother and met Standly a.k.a Ah Chung in the church..he's now has 3 boys :).

Once again, CONGRATS to the newly wed..

This was my 1st time attending a Murut traditional wedding, and i tell you it was such an interesting yet a scary experience. Interesting cuz the wedding took place at the field with a tent sorrounding it which can fit 40 tables and the food was being served instead of buffet (6 dishes all together). Food was not bad, quite tasty. And guess where did they prepare the food??? All was done in my cousin's house!!! And you know what, the cost for all that is quite cheap, only RM160 per table, and this has include the tables+chairs+tent!!!!

The scary part was, you'll be forced to drink the "tapai" from the "tajau" no matter what your gender is, u can't afford to refuse...i manage to escape by telling them that "I'm pregnant" & they believed me..hahaha..thanks to my buldging belly..hehehe!! Hubs also manage to escape cuz Andrea was crying really hard while my cousin pulling his hand!! Maybe she thought that his daddy is being hurt...very caring la my daughter :)..They'll drink till the max you know..i can see a lot of them "ampai2x" suda...scary!!
Went home on the next day and reached home around 2 p.m.

Here are some of the photos taken..
