Performance from K2 Tagungak. Andrea & her classmate performing an act titled "Bersama mu". She acts as a reporter...Saw her came in the stage together with the TV3 crews & Datuk Gumpili (the one in blue long sleeve) to visit & give sponsorship to the poor family....pandai juga tu belakun......she told me she could not smile since this scene supposed to be sad..but when she saw me...she did put a smile on her face....hehehe...

Before the makeover..

After the makeover..Andrea lookin' happy..think she's satisfy with her new look..

While mom was busy preparing Andrea....dad was busy himself "decorating" his son.....

Send the kids to their schools around 8 a.m. and later both of us headed to mee soup Pipin for breakfast...this was the 1st time we had our breakfast here without having the kids around..& it's feel kinda weird...without me shouting and no one making any noises...we started missing our kids already.....

The concert was held at Dewan Tun Fuad Penampang, we reached there around 9.45 a.m., the event was suppose to start at 10 a.m. When we first reached there...saw Andrea with her friends at the front row seat all ready with their Angel costume...they'll perform the "Angel dance" for the opening ceremony. Was so happy that she was selected as one of the dancers (only 4 of them were selected out of all Kindergaten 1 student)...every year they'll do this dance as an ice -breaking ceremony and i did tell to myself before (eversince she 1st join Suausindak) that how i wish that one day she'll wear that costume & dance infront of me...my wish has came true..

Didn't see Andrew around, he must be at the back stage getting ready cuz he'll perform after the "Graduation" ceremony.

One of the MCs for this year concert is my nephew Micah together with his friend Stephanie and one of the organizer, Jennifer Lasimbang...Really proud of him..he did a good job..well done Micah..

After the performance from the toddler group...it's now Andrew's turn together with his friends from playshool 1...It's actually a mix performance of Tambunan culture..Andrew was in the group performing the "Tagungak"... At first Andrew just stood there looking at the crowd & can see from his eyes that he's searching for us..he didn't even hit that thing he is holding..not until when he saw me...bersemangat terus bah....he look at me and smile and was enjoying himself till the "Tagungak" turn out to be his guitar....trus mcm rock & roll bah...too bad we didn't captured any picture of that...

Later after few performances, it was Andrea's turn together with her friends from Kindergarten 1 Sompoton. She act & dance as an "Orang-orang", in english it means scarecrows...but she doesn't look like one to me...she told me before that she doesn't like the "orang-orang' costumes...she says "BURUK"...saw it for the 1st time during the concert & i like it...for me, it look nice & cute on her...mind the BIG "sirung" on her head compare the rest...hubs just bought that since he/we couldn't find any smaller size that fits her nicely....

Congrats to all the teachers who have work hard for making this year concert a success..really love to see the colorful backdrops & costumes...salute them for their patient and for being able to manage all the kids that range from 3 - 6 yrs old...*Applause2x*...

After Andrea's last performance, went & get both of them, hug & kiss them..and told them they did well up there & how they make us proud....Didn't wait till the concert ended cuz hubs has to rush back to work ...Later in the evening will be attending a full moon + birthday party at my uncle's place in Tomposik (will blog about this later)...

Had been planning to bring the kids to the library all these while but there are always sumthing that has stopped our plan......Well, eventhough the kids had their own mini library at school but they have not experience to go to the "real" library yet..

Last Saturday hubby woke up & first thing he told me.."Mari pigi lai-fai-bre-fre-ri-fi" (if you don't know what's that means..it means "Library" in "F" language )..he says that cuz he doesn't want the kids to understand on what he says or else it will excite them awal2x...

Daddy only told them after they had took their bath...wah semua pun excited...Told Andrea to bring her homework along and she immediately packed her bag..and Andrew..tidak mau kalah juga...so he just brought his bag without anything inside ...

Not so sure which library to go (ada di Dongongon, Jalan Tasik & KK)...so just told hubs to go to the one in Jalan Tasik since it's new & i've been there few months back during our work visit. So off to Library Jalan Tasik we went...

Since its their first visit to the library, so took their "gambar kenangan" infront of the Jalan Tasik Library ....

Andrea muka excited..err..Andrew (wearing dad's fav shirt) muka blurr??

So when we got inside, the environment was too quite (luckily we had warned the kids to be quite & behave themselves)....Andrea wanted to do her homework but could not find a suitable place for her to sit.....Both hubs & i were trying to search for kiddies book but couldn't find one...the only thing that we can see are magazines & computers...Being curious myself, went & ask the guy at the counter and he told me.."lama suda tu bahagian kanak2x kana pindah pigi KK library"...oooo..ok..now i know..since no children section here so thought that the kids at least could play the computers (tidak juga sia2x kan) so went to the counter once again kunun wanted to pay for the internet access but was so dissapointed (again) when the guy told me that only those with membership card could have the access for RM1/hour....I had lost my membership card few years ago and so wanted to apply for my kids BUT they could not process since I did not bring their birth cert..mana la sia tau kan!!...aduii...(double the dissapointment )...Told the kids just to go back since nothing they can do there...itu pun suda start lari2x sana sini....both of them gave us the "sad" look and said "Still want to go to library!!"..

Doesn't want to dissapoint them..so hubs drove us to KK Library....can see the kids smiling face again ....when we got inside there..wow..this is the rite place for kids..the environment memang ngam la...!!! No one care if your kids are jumping or running around....as long as they did not shout or make loud noice and that's ok...Both Andrea & Andrew were enjoying themselves and see what they've learned from their visit:-

A place where you can sit and do your homework.

A place where you can find plenty of interesting & colourful books in many shapes & sizes..

From stories book to children's encyclopedia. (Andrew is looking at the insect's encyclopedia)

A place where you could relax, chill out and stretch your legs..

And finally....

A new place for Andrew to run and jump ...

Will definately gonna visit this place again...At least now Andrea is motivated to read..those colourful and interesting books must have inspired her a lot ...Well, to wraps up my entry for today..here's Andrea teaching her adik to read...and it only lasted for 1 minute 22 seconds???
