Was supposed to blog about this on Tuesday where this "incident" took place but then my Outlook gave me a lil' bit of problem so I need to fix that one first..buthey..thanks to my Outlook..cuz if not I would have cursed this place like hell!!!
We were all excited on Tuesday noon cuz someone was kind enuf to drive us to Citimall for lunch (thanks to Cin ). At first we wanted to go to the food court but then "Sate Mesra" has caught our attention that afternoon...wanted to try kunun since a lot of promo about this new place everywhere (can find the advert in the newspapers & banners). So off to "Sate Mesra" we went.....
Happy & excited when we 1st got there...siap kasi tunjuk lagi the 5% discount card given to us.
Yati & Cindy impressed..."Wah ada flat screen TV!!!"
But later after that..our temper & anger (especially me & Jurra) has boiled up mebbe up to 100°C suda tu ....Please READ the full story here(MESTI BACA TAU!!)or else you won't understand the rest of my story below...just gonna do a summary since malas suda mo cerita balik!! 7 reasons why you should NOT go & dine at this place:-
1) The service was way tooooooooooooo sloooowwwwww. The lady manager promised me that my Laksa Sarawak will be ready in 6 minutes but it took them more than 1 hour to prepare!!! This was my 1hr+ Laksa Sarawak which has cost me RM9 (15% service tax included)..taste was so-so saja..worth it ka kamu rasa?!?! (note: The laksa that u've seen in this pic was 1/2 way kena makan suda due tu perut kelaparan).
2) Jurra also waited for her "Mesra Chicken Chop" for more than 1 hour & it was served with fork & spoon since they do not have knife...The waitress said.."Ini saja yang kami ada"..
3)The most lousy "Nasi Lemak" ever which costs RM8.88 (kalau campur 15% service tax mau RM10.21 juga)...and Yati did ask for additional sambal...the waitress replied.."Skejap ah..sia tanya dulu"..as if macam ndak buli kena kasi....so stingy!! AND it took them more than 30 minutes to prepare this simple meal!!
4) Very very very poor customer service...The waiter & waitress doesn't know/care how to smile when talk to their customer and wasn't that helpful !! If you notice the pic on your left (click the pic for larger view), there were 3 of them (2 waiters + 1 waitress) chatting near the counter doing nothing...Aren't they suppose to check on their customer whether they have their food served & ready and at least check la kan whether their customer need any assistant?!! Ini...mo panggil dorang pun have to wait when one of them passed by to served the food to the other table...then when we ask them where is our food..dorang jawab ini.."Skejap ah".."Tunggu..skejap lagi"...Adoii..1 jam sjikap ka tu???!!
5) Jurra ordered & paid for a take away cheese cake at the counter but was so frustrated when she opened the "tapau" box in the office kunun mau makan the cheese cake for her tea break..the cheese cake turned out to be just a plain choc cream cake!!!! The bill clearly stated that she paid for a cheese cake...macam mana boleh kasi tapau salah!!
6) The lady manager should by right give us at least some complementary (free meal ka..kasi free satay ka while waiting or at least a free drink ka..) since we have waited for more than 1 hour for our food (kasi cool down la bah sikit kan) but instead she ask Jurra whether she wanted to "tapau" her Chic chop & come and take it later in the afternoon ....Buli juga ah macam tu!!!
7) The reason why the food was served late as explained by the lady manager: "Kami baru saja buka ba kemarin, ada dua saja cook kami and dua2x pun lambat...sorry ahhhh kak..betul2x minta sorry.."....call kami "kakak" lagi tu!!They should not promise to customer if they could not deliver the good in time rite!! If their cook is not available..just tell the customer the truth la..so we won't order the one that required the chef to cook kan!! Apa...mo untung saja ka nie???..told us that the menu that we've selected are all available!! eee...geramm!!
But the best incident of all.....
The angry lady customer which sitted behind us was so damn angry and frustrated (sampai she cannot control suda)...she shouted at one of the waitress (yg muka mcm blur2x).."WHERE'S YOUR BOSS? I WANT TO TALK TO YOUR BOSS!!"...I managed to take a short clip of their "argument" but then since i'm not that qualified paparazzi..this is the best shot that i could take..If you notice...the two ladies which just entered the restauraunt were the one being chase away by the angry lady customer (read the story here if you don't know what i mean)....The skinny guy who is standing there with a bag was trying to cool down the two angry ladies but due to his lack of customer service skills, both of them went off & asking for refund....hehehe....
(p/s: Sorry..suara2x sumbang kami pulak yg kuat...i should be taking the video from the other side bah kan baru ndak ketara....*duh*..)
Maybe they will improve in near future but since they've shown a very bad impression during my 1st visit there...My final conclusion will still be..say "NO" to Mesra Sate...

Jurra, teda nxt time lagi nie..trus full stop suda makan sana..merajuk suda nie..hehehe..
Mimi...bagus lagi bawa si Jnr pi makan sate sana kedai2x biasa, di tg. aru sana pun sedap and murah + tasty lagi...Ini tempat ni..suda la mahal sate dia (RM1+ for satu cucuk) and kuah sate dia pun so-so saja..rasa kacang saja lebih..sedap lagi kuah sate yg kawan sia bikin..

I agree as well!! First and the last time I will ever go there. Lousy SATE! I wrote a blog post regarding it, and someone commented on it and said I'm an idiot and a jerk! Can you believe that?? Dia rasa Sate Mesra is the best restaurant in town. Sesat lah tu mengkali!

We ate there a couple of weeks ago. Customer service and food were okay. If I were you, I would just leave the restaurant. If it takes a restaurant more than 30 mins to prepare a meal, you have a justified reason to leave without paying.
