Never would I thought that I’ll be one of the participants joining the OBS training program, not even once…kalau ada pun I will try to avoid..hehehe..those who knows me would know...BUT since this is a compulsory program which our company required us to attend.. I have no choice but to go for the 2 days program at OBS Kinarut!! And u know what…I DON’T REGRET IT AT ALL! Thanks to hubs for encouraging me..sikit suda mau tarik diri tu last minute cuz it so happen that it was my 2nd day of menstrual period that day (am I being too detail here??? Hehehe)…
I had loads & loads of fun…Can’t imagine that I manage to get through all those activities i.e. Giant ladder, kayak, water rafting using float & bamboo, flying fox (40 m high), 3 hours of jungle tracking which is the most challenging so far (even one of us in our group has passed out but not me ah…). + lots more..
The giant ladder was quite tough but when I first look at it…my 1st impression was “oo senang saja bah nie”..i thought that the “tukang tarik” down there just need to pull us till we reached at the top…so… I volunteered myself to be the 1st three to go….when we ask the trainer…”mcm mana mo naik?”…..they smiled & said..”the 3 of u hv to help each other…u can either use ur thigh & shoulder but not ur head”…I was like..”huh???”…Well with the team spirit, support & trust from each other.. the three of us (1st batch) + the rest manage to reached the top and can see from our faces that we were really proud & happy to be up there..it was not that easy I tell u…u really need to use ur brain & LOTS of energy ya know!!
And it was also my 1st experience to do the flying fox (so scary at 1st but later on it was fun…macam mau try lagi…*kunun*). and on our 2nd day…the trainer said, the nxt activity will be the water rafting…I can’t wait already cuz I’ve seen my friends had so much fun doing that before..skali tingu..we were given 6 floats + bamboos + ropes & we were asked to do our own raft….Aduiii….the paddle pun bukan main lagi….it was made of wood & it was so damn heavy….sudalah kami punya design salah…the bamboo patah lagi tu from the moment the guy sit at the back…hahahaha…it was really tiring but still it was fun!!!
We even created our own lyrics from Saiful’s (OIM) song (which I’ve forgotten the title :) for our group presentation that nite…I think this song has summarize the excitement that we’ve gone through. Here it goes:
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Our Journey in OBS
-----------------------
From Kali pertama kami tahu
Kami di invite pergi training
Training OBS di Kinarut
Ada excited…ada yg malas..
Setibanya kami disini..
Byk sangat peraturannya..
Tiada handphone..tiada rokok..
Kunci kereta pun kena ambil..wo hoo ooo..
Cho: But all of these doesn’t matter at all
Through this challenge we’re standing tall
Other group might be feeling sick
But we’re the group that is called “BIONIC”
Ada satu group yg over confident
Slalu bising dan slalu kecoh
Belum cuba dia belum tahu
But how come we always beat you..
Activity kami hari ini
Giant ladder, kayak and flying fox,
There’s a lot we learn, a lot we gained,
Unity, trust & determination..wo hoo oooo
(cho:)
