As mentioned in my previous post, I had a trip to Labuan recently for 1.5 days together with the Management Unit from KL (see the group pic above). They were 15 of them & only 2 of us from SBO. I really gained a lot during this trip. We visited LGAST and PML 1 & 2 on day 1 and to LCOT on day 2. It was a bit tiring but sure it was fun..errrr despite from the free sauna that we get...it was damn hot..nasib baik pakai coverall..kureng sikit la kena sun burn.
During this visit, we were required to wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) i.e. coverall, safety boots, safety helmet & safety glass and it was my 1st time wearing this safety boots..tu pun pinjam dari orang..it was a high cut boots ya know…keras & berat lagi tu..ndak biasa kan.! During our visit to PML1, my feet was doing ok but not during our the 2nd visit to PML2, it was so painful till I could hardly walk…i didn’t tell anyone cuz malu bah…I see the rest macam relax saja jalan..so sia pun control ayu saja la as if nothing happen padahal KESAKITAN suda betul!! I really can’t stand it already, sooooo..while the rest went to return their temporary pass at the main gate, I went & ask for few plasters from the HSE department..i knew memang banyak betul suda blisters. While I was inside the bus, took off the safety boots & into my surprise, there was a blood stain on my right sock…bila buka my sock lagi tekejut…nampak isi suda berdarah-darah….ewww…(see the pic above)..tu blister punya kulit terkuyak suda..no wonder la sakit!!! Called hubs to inform him about this..he advised me to at least inform the manager so that I can be excused from wearing that safety boots, nanti makin worse he said BUT I didn’t do so…cuz if I do…I won’t have the chance to join them & stroll around the plant…rugi bah…but thank God everything went well…I managed to bear the pain & have successfully visited all the plants/terminals J…
O yes lupa mo kasitau…I’m the only one who stayed at Tiara Hotel, the rest stayed at Golden Dorsett which is located in town….hotel yg lain semua fully booked suda! Not bad juga la Tiara Hotel..mcm resort juga..it was located near the beach…but didn’t have to chance to stroll around cuz by the time I checked in, it was already 5.30 p.m. I got shocked when I first checked in, the room was so huge but the room condition is a bit old..got 1 queen size bed + 1 single bed (see the pic above)..mcm haunted bah. I get so worried macam mana mo tidur malam, macam2x la yg sia imagine suda..u know la me..PENAKUT!!! Was so lucky & grateful that my cousin Fanny (who is now working in Labuan) willing to accompany me during my stay in that so-called-scary hotel. At night, she & Fred (her fiancé) brought me jalan2x to Financial Park (beli chocs apalagi) and had dinner at one of the “kedai makan”. Thanks Fanny belanja me makan J…!!
And how was Andrea this time??? Still no good…she woke up early in the morning at 5.30 a.m. (weird why she woke up that early..mcm dia tau2x saja) & was crying asking me not to go Labuan. My flight to Labuan was at 6.40 p.m. and by the time I reached KK airport ngam2x time to check in, if I were late by 5 minutes, sure I’ll missed that flight…late pasal sesi pujuk memujuk la nie *sigh*..
