No soft drink or any other drinks...Anne just ordered this one...forgot what does it called...It has a weird taste though..Anne said this is good for your health & digestion...It has coriander leaves & some spices in it....well..at least i have tried..

I had a lot of these while waiting for the main dish..

The appetizer...taste nice but TOO sweet for me...

The main dish...Yummy..love the tandoori chicken + chicken massala + the rest (forgot the dish's name)...*drooling*..

Last menu was served - The rice...& we didn't even finished it...all were too full...

Attended the KESITER Charity dinner organized by JPKN for the first time last night...(Thanks to Sindut for getting us the tickets )...As planned, we (Jurra & myself) drove to Sindut's house and later car pool using her car to Magellan where the dinner took place. We reached there around 7 p.m, just nice actually, masih banyak lagi tu parking..

I must say that the organizing committee did a good job..Not only the function went quite well & organized, but they sure know how to entertain their guests well...*clap2x*..

Met an old friend of mine, Josie who's also one of the organizing committee..nice seeing you again Josie .

The theme color for tonite's dinner is maroon & white..can see people wearing these two colours everywhere..nice!!..even we ourselves followed the theme colour !!...Only 7 of us left (6 ladies + 1 guy) seating at one table which also means MORE food for us . The other 3 gentlemen decided to sit at the other table together with the DH group..thanks to LG for convincing them on how good our appetite is .

The program went quite well, eventhough didn't won any lucky draw prizes but one thing for sure..we sure had loads of fun!! The highlight of the night was the song performance from Velvet MALATOP!!!...She sang 5 songs altogether & one of them was her latest hits "Kini detiknya" and a Dusun song which i only heard for the first time & has fallen in love with that song...Our table was at the first row & located near the stage and kami apalagi...when Velvet went down the stage...i almost could not not control myself (i think some ppl even notice that )... was too excited till i didn't even bother what was happening around me...This girl really can sing! She has a beautiful & powerful voice...really admire the way she sang...she has slimmer down a bit too..her face punya la main licin..her looks reminds me of Kris Dayanti..

When she was at the other side, i went infront of our table and balik2x waving at her asking her to come nearer.."sini..sini.." she actually saw me calling and slowly walk to our table..and when she was right infront of me....instead of shaking hand or took pic with her...what i did was just busy snapping her pics ...*DUH*..

When she was at our table for the 2nd time...and the moment when i wanted to take pic with her....my digicam showed me this "MEMORY FULL"... ...was asking Sindut for backup since she also brought one...but instead of getting ready with her digicam, she accidentally pressed the off button.. ..suddenly semua orang pun mo panic..hahaha...BUT nevermind..memang we were all so lucky la...there was another photo session with her outside the ball room after the last menu was served....trus senyum lebar kami semua....take a look of our pics taken below..

Hubs drove me there since i do not want to drive alone..so he brought the kids along since no one to bbsit them...Andrew cried wanted to follow me the minute when i get down from the car...kesian....i just looked at him/them & wave bye2x..eventhough it's hurt and sad to see him crying like that . Smsed hubs to ask how Andrew was doing...he replied..he is doing a-o-kay and told me he's started to talk now.. was so glad to hear that and tidak payah mau worry lagi...hmmm...Dad must have "bribe" them with sumthing ...

I only had this from the main course dish...+ 3 slices of fried ikan tenggiri...lost my appetite after my 3 times attemp to....(hmm..let it be my secret..hahaha)....The food..the taste was just so-so...not that tasty..The "NASI LEMAK KUKUS" in Giant tasted much more better than the one i had here....tiada rasa bah...& I heard the cook was "Orang Putih" yo..

And this was our appetizer + few more but didn't manage to take pic due to terlampau bercerita & laughed so much....

There was a talk during the "ceramah agama" presented by one of the Imam....and the word of wisdom from him ..."Makan bila lapar dan berhenti sebelum kenyang"....hmm....Good to apply when you wanted to have a slimmer body kan...so make sure your body sensor is well functioning before you could apply this or else it will be too late...nanti kanyang suda tu perut ..

Hubs & the kids picked me up at around 9.00 p.m. and i was welcomed with a "BIG" smile....weird??? wanted to know why..cuz dad has "bribe" Andrew with...

Betul kan sia cakap .....hmmm...bukan main lagi my sumandak nie !! Well...at least everyone went home with happy faces ....that does matter ..

I had been telling my colleagues (C & M) that my eye lid on my right keep on blinking itself...not so sure if it meant something good or bad....C told me that something good is going to happen.."Bagus pigi beli 4D" dia bilang ...so I did..but still no luck ....Guess that wasn't the "Good thing" after all.. ..

My eye lid continue to blink for the next few days...and guess what....it's true what C has told me...something good did happen...In two weeks in a row, we got a visit from relatives (hub's side) & a close friend that came all the way from Kuching & JB.....

Hubby's Aunt & her family (the hubby + her two daughters - Pipin & Lyn) + hubby's grandma (which he called "mumbok" in Bidayuh) were here in KK 2 weeks ago to attend Pipin's graduation day at UMS...Congrats to Pipin!! They were here for a week (from 2nd - 8th Sept) but only managed to meet them on the 4/9 (Tue) since their schedule were pretty tight (they had planned to go to Ranau & Labuan). Was so happy to meet them especially my dear hubby...it has been quite a while since we last meet them, wah apalagi..when they met up..semua pun speaking in tongue......excited my hubby...We didn't have a chance to bring them to tour around though.....we just met them at the hotel and had a chat and catch up stories with each other....then a day before they fly back to Kuching, brought them to my dad's place in Dungkahang for dinner & had a mini family gathering together with my parents & siblings. Send them to airport the nxt morning, their flight was in the afternoon..before they left, sempat juga they gave Andrea & Andrew with some angpows..Tq!!...Only few pics were taken, semua pun camera shy...

A day after they went back, had another visitor....a friend of ours, Melvin who came all the way from JB to KK to attend a course for a week (from 9th - 15th Sept). For those who didn't know, he was our unimate in UTM, housemate for few years & our geng keras in JB...He's a Sarawakian but working in JB and now married with 2 kids (wah..detailnya..ndak pa bah kan since ini 1st time muka ko masuk my blog..hehehe)...and we kinda related juga..his elder brother married to my elder sister...we shared the same niece & nephew...what a small world kan... ...

We only met him on Tuesday night and plan to treat him dinner at one of hubby's fav restaurant in Lintas (sadap the western food sana) but due to the heavy rain, change the venue to Pizza Hut @ CTMall. Suppose kami yang mo blanja bah kan...turn out dia pulak yg belanja..rejeki....TQ ah Melvin!!!

A day before he flies back to JB, he treated us (our family + his brother's family) dinner at Dowish. Tq once again ah Melvin !!..rejeki lagi..hehehe...the food there was nice esp. the prawn ..service pun ok......

On the nxt day, we brought the kids to Pacific Sutera Hotel's swim pool for their early bath..Melvin has been staying in this hotel for a week...so took the chance la...hehehe..

After few hours of swim, had a rest inside the hotel room..All concentrating watching this movie "The House of wax"..

The clock shows almost 11 a.m & it's time for Melvin to fly back home to his family in JB...sent him to airport to catch his afternoon flight at 12.15 p.m.

Melvin was forced to use a sun glass due to an eye infection on his right eye....suda baik ka mata ko Melvin?

Time to go home..Sayonara Melvin....

My eye lid has been stopped blinking since then....well...life goes back to normal.....hopefully there will be more "good things" coming to our life after this without waiting/hoping/depending my eye lid to start blinking all over again......Will leave that to God to decide..
