After attending the morning mass at CMI church in Bukit Padang on Sunday and had our breakfast in one of the coffee shop in Kolombong, went straight to my aunt's (Aunty Odot) house at Jalan Pogun to attend her 50th birthday party. Most of my family members were there already by the time we reached her house...sempat lagi ada orang buka saloon rambut bah diatas...too bad not enuf time for her (my cousin Gobing) to "set" my hair...nxt time la kio 'Bing..Buli bah kan kalau kau..

Had a great time here with my cousins & sisters...chatting & enjoying ourselves with all those delicious food...not forgetting those delicious cheese & choc cakes from STAR hotel + the assorted chocs specially "imported" from Labuan..SADAP!! Fanny, nxt time beli lagi byk2x ah if you come down to KK....Andrew loves it so much till he tapau-ed home few..

My aunt with her family (her two daughters + her only son & hubby)..singing birthday song on her 50th birthday..Well...age is just a number...she doesn't look like 50 to me...she looks younger than her age kan .

Baruch lookin' so cute with his bumblebee outfit...He has one unique name for sure..my uncle says he got that name "BARUCH" from the bible...(never heard that one before..ketara jarang/tidak pernah baca Bible)..while "BINABANG" is a kadazan name which means a bright light...

Send the kids to their schools around 8 a.m. and later both of us headed to mee soup Pipin for breakfast...this was the 1st time we had our breakfast here without having the kids around..& it's feel kinda weird...without me shouting and no one making any noises...we started missing our kids already.....

The concert was held at Dewan Tun Fuad Penampang, we reached there around 9.45 a.m., the event was suppose to start at 10 a.m. When we first reached there...saw Andrea with her friends at the front row seat all ready with their Angel costume...they'll perform the "Angel dance" for the opening ceremony. Was so happy that she was selected as one of the dancers (only 4 of them were selected out of all Kindergaten 1 student)...every year they'll do this dance as an ice -breaking ceremony and i did tell to myself before (eversince she 1st join Suausindak) that how i wish that one day she'll wear that costume & dance infront of me...my wish has came true..

Didn't see Andrew around, he must be at the back stage getting ready cuz he'll perform after the "Graduation" ceremony.

One of the MCs for this year concert is my nephew Micah together with his friend Stephanie and one of the organizer, Jennifer Lasimbang...Really proud of him..he did a good job..well done Micah..

After the performance from the toddler group...it's now Andrew's turn together with his friends from playshool 1...It's actually a mix performance of Tambunan culture..Andrew was in the group performing the "Tagungak"... At first Andrew just stood there looking at the crowd & can see from his eyes that he's searching for us..he didn't even hit that thing he is holding..not until when he saw me...bersemangat terus bah....he look at me and smile and was enjoying himself till the "Tagungak" turn out to be his guitar....trus mcm rock & roll bah...too bad we didn't captured any picture of that...

Later after few performances, it was Andrea's turn together with her friends from Kindergarten 1 Sompoton. She act & dance as an "Orang-orang", in english it means scarecrows...but she doesn't look like one to me...she told me before that she doesn't like the "orang-orang' costumes...she says "BURUK"...saw it for the 1st time during the concert & i like it...for me, it look nice & cute on her...mind the BIG "sirung" on her head compare the rest...hubs just bought that since he/we couldn't find any smaller size that fits her nicely....

Congrats to all the teachers who have work hard for making this year concert a success..really love to see the colorful backdrops & costumes...salute them for their patient and for being able to manage all the kids that range from 3 - 6 yrs old...*Applause2x*...

After Andrea's last performance, went & get both of them, hug & kiss them..and told them they did well up there & how they make us proud....Didn't wait till the concert ended cuz hubs has to rush back to work ...Later in the evening will be attending a full moon + birthday party at my uncle's place in Tomposik (will blog about this later)...

Attended the KESITER Charity dinner organized by JPKN for the first time last night...(Thanks to Sindut for getting us the tickets )...As planned, we (Jurra & myself) drove to Sindut's house and later car pool using her car to Magellan where the dinner took place. We reached there around 7 p.m, just nice actually, masih banyak lagi tu parking..

I must say that the organizing committee did a good job..Not only the function went quite well & organized, but they sure know how to entertain their guests well...*clap2x*..

Met an old friend of mine, Josie who's also one of the organizing committee..nice seeing you again Josie .

The theme color for tonite's dinner is maroon & white..can see people wearing these two colours everywhere..nice!!..even we ourselves followed the theme colour !!...Only 7 of us left (6 ladies + 1 guy) seating at one table which also means MORE food for us . The other 3 gentlemen decided to sit at the other table together with the DH group..thanks to LG for convincing them on how good our appetite is .

The program went quite well, eventhough didn't won any lucky draw prizes but one thing for sure..we sure had loads of fun!! The highlight of the night was the song performance from Velvet MALATOP!!!...She sang 5 songs altogether & one of them was her latest hits "Kini detiknya" and a Dusun song which i only heard for the first time & has fallen in love with that song...Our table was at the first row & located near the stage and kami apalagi...when Velvet went down the stage...i almost could not not control myself (i think some ppl even notice that )... was too excited till i didn't even bother what was happening around me...This girl really can sing! She has a beautiful & powerful voice...really admire the way she sang...she has slimmer down a bit too..her face punya la main licin..her looks reminds me of Kris Dayanti..

When she was at the other side, i went infront of our table and balik2x waving at her asking her to come nearer.."sini..sini.." she actually saw me calling and slowly walk to our table..and when she was right infront of me....instead of shaking hand or took pic with her...what i did was just busy snapping her pics ...*DUH*..

When she was at our table for the 2nd time...and the moment when i wanted to take pic with her....my digicam showed me this "MEMORY FULL"... ...was asking Sindut for backup since she also brought one...but instead of getting ready with her digicam, she accidentally pressed the off button.. ..suddenly semua orang pun mo panic..hahaha...BUT nevermind..memang we were all so lucky la...there was another photo session with her outside the ball room after the last menu was served....trus senyum lebar kami semua....take a look of our pics taken below..

After got my painting, saw one guy wearing a Mexican outfit standing there with a smile..and told hubs.."siok oo kan kalau ko dapat pakai tu baju"...but since tiada tu baju for him..ask for hubs permission.."buli ka sia ambil gambar sama tu Mexican?" and he said "Bah pigi lah"..

The kids were enjoying themselves at the kids corner..sampai ndak mo balik!!..After the short tour at the exhibtion hall, went straight to the book store..it was located at the upper deck...it was an open space shaded with canvas roofing...no aircond!! It was damn warm & hot & crowded with people...susanya mo bernafas....Finally, the kids got what they want - Andrew got himself a Superman book (he's a Superman fan now eversince he watched the Superman Return at HBO last week...so tu Fantastic 4, Spiderman & Ultraman semua kena lupa suda)...And as usual sia punya hahangai ini..she picked the Barbie book..her idol..hehehe..Hubs have to wait for another 15 or 20 minutes in a long queue just to wait for his turn to pay for those books....sampai the kids suda habis makan ice-cream masi lagi he queuing there...*sigh*...

What a great weekend we had!! We really had a blast during the Raya holidays...apa ndak..hubs got 7 open hse invitations from his colleagues within the 3 days of Raya...

On the 1st day of Raya itself, we attended 3 open hse invitations...2nd day of Raya - 2 invitations & on the 3rd Raya got another 2 invitations. We have been travelling around from morning till evening...from Petagas, Tg. Aru to Sepanggar ....Eventhough the kids feel tired & sleepy due to not taking their afternoon nap but sure they were enjoying themselves..Not only them but us (me & hubs) too..with those delicious food (rendang, mutton & chic curry, sate, layer cakes, cheese cake, etc) that you could not resist...the biscuit Raya lagi.. ...Not only because of the food, but also becuz I have the oppurtunity to mingle & get closer with hubs' female colleagues...at least this year i don't feel like a stranger..unlike last year...I feel totally like one cuz hubs just join the company (at least for 3 mths) and met them only for the first time....so susa sikit la mo join the group..

Aiyo..ate too much till my tummy feels & look bloated now... ..have to stop eating meat at least for few days la mcm nie..means more fruits & vege for me..

The highlight of our Raya Marathon was the chic wing panggang during our 2nd hse visit @ 3rd day of Raya..SADAP oo the chic wings...the way it tasted was soooo juicy, tender and ....sadap la (dunno how to describe it)...Andrea loves it so much till she ate 6 or 7 pieces of wings.....I could have it more if i was not that full...looking forward for "it" again next year...hehehe...according to hubs, every year they'll have this barbecue, it's kinda their tradition & that's their specialty..

Since our plan to watch movie on last Friday was canceled due to hubs work commitment, went & watch "The Bourne Altimatum" @ 9 p.m show at GSC on Saturday. Love that movie...the way Matt Damon act in that movie was..one word to describe..WOW..he was so intelligent...love his acting..The part I like the most is when Jason Bourne diverted Noah Vosen attention to another place and at the same time he was at his office getting all the docs that he wanted in just a split of second... BULI TAHAN!! & btw...one of the "Asset" named Desh reminds me of someone who's working here .. lebih kurang oo tu muka..
